DARK FRAME ARC SIGN-UPS!

Here's how it goes:

Dark Frame is out in a little over a month. Yay! I'm opening up ARC sign-ups and will be distributing them next week. Here are the instructions:

-Compose and email to irisblaire at gmail dot com with the subject line DARK FRAME ARC REQUEST

-Introduce yourself if we haven't corresponded before (if we have, then simply "Yo, Iris, what's up?" will suffice).

-Tell me why you would like or are in desperate need of a DARK FRAME arc.

-Provide me links to your book blog and/or GoodReads/Booklikes page.

I will begin sending ARCs out next Monday, about a month before the official release of the book. Keep in mind that giving a negative review of EXPOSURE doesn't disqualify you from an ARC of Dark Frame--that's just manipulative and silly. I appreciate negative reviews at much as good ones. :)

Please feel free to leave any questions in the comments section of this post!

XOXOXO

First Harvard, and now the national expansion of East Park Exposed. Evan Cosette will have to choose one or the other.

But not yet. E.P.E.’s new owner, A.J. Harrison, wants the fall launch issue shot in Boston. It will be Evan’s last go as Rylan Willow—sensual starlet of the underground magazine that made her famous.
And she’ll have to shoot without Dallas.

Finishing up his Master’s, Dallas needs to spend his semester in Costa Rica working on research. And that’s not the only thing separating him from Evan. With lingering thoughts about her relationship with Dallas being based on nothing more than lust and lies, Evan calls it quits with the gorgeous grad student from East Park University.

The breakup doesn’t make the Boston shoot easier. Under A.J.’s reign, Britain’s artistic liberty is gone, and the issue becomes less of a clever erotic read and more of a Halloween-themed smutfest. Much like Evan’s modeling, Britain’s photos grow sloppy and uninspired.

But a reminder of the pleasures of sex and art is around the corner for both girls. Someone is leaving a trail of seductive clues for Britain on the set of the cover shoot--a historic manor. And Dallas makes his return to steal Evan’s heart for good.

With a familiar narrator from EXPOSURE and a fresh, new point-of-view character, this is the blazing-hot sequel you’ve been waiting for.

Cover Reveal for Ember Casey's Truth or Dare!

Here it is! Smoking hot, right?

The steamy sequel to His Wicked Games...
After their passionate, heated weekend at the Cunningham estate, Lily and Calder have decided to take their relationship to the next level. But love in the real world isn’t all fun and games—especially when it becomes clear that Calder still harbors his share of secrets.

When Calder suggests they hold off on sex for a while, Lily knows something is seriously wrong—and she’s not afraid to pull out the big guns. She makes Calder a proposal he can’t refuse: an ongoing match of Truth or Dare that she hopes will bring them closer together both physically and emotionally.

But as the contest increases in intensity, so do the stakes, and suddenly Lily and Calder have to face the question they’ve both been avoiding: what sort of relationship do they have when they strip away all the games?

Ember Casey is a twenty-something writer who lives in Atlanta, Georgia in a den of iniquity (or so she likes to tell people). When she's not writing steamy romances, you can find her whipping up baked goods (usually of the chocolate variety), traveling (her bucket list is infinite), or generally causing trouble (because somebody has to do it).

Dark Frame COVER REVEAL!

Mucho thanks to Ember Casey, Rotten Apple Reads, and Brittany and Bianca Blab Books for launching the DARK FRAME cover reveal today. Here it is, guys!

Finishing up his Master’s, Dallas needs to spend the first half of his semester in Costa Rica working on research. And that’s not the only thing separating him from Evan. With lingering thoughts about her relationship with Dallas being based on nothing more than lust and lies, Evan calls it quits with the gorgeous grad student from East Park University.

The breakup doesn’t make the Boston shoot easier.

Exposure #2 Title! (drumroll, please)

I really love picking out titles that have both a literal and metaphorical meaning. Exposure was an easy one to come up with. Not only was it a photography term, but throughout the book, Evan struggles with exposing her identity to her schoolmates, exposing her real attraction to Dallas, and then the obvious--exposing her body.

I wanted to have a similar title for book two--a title that gives away aspects of the novel in its meaning, both literally and metaphorically. So saying that, I give you the title to Exposure #2...

*drumroll*

DARK FRAME

From the dictionary at all-things-photography.com:

Dark Frame- A noise reduction process where a camera takes a second exposure of a black frame after the camera takes a long exposure image. The image noise is easily identified in the black frame shot and is then electronically removed from the actual image. This helps to reduce the amount of hot pixels that normally show up in long exposure shots from digital cameras.

So there it is! What do you guys think? Any predictions to what the second book is going to be about? Throw them out there!
